DJ長谷川賢司が主催するjunkan recordsの企画展示。商業施設の中、junkan recordsさんが開いたシャッター裏に、長年隠れていた期間限定のユニークな空間で個展させて頂きました。この商業施設に対峙する素の空間を主なインスピレーションに、遠くへ思いを馳せるコンセプトで、DIYの様子を残して会場構成。使った棚木材はマップケースに再利用することを見越して設計し、廃材をできるだけ出さないように設計しました。
This exhibition space had been storage area behind a shutter until junkan records opened it up that summer. This raw space naturally creating contrast to the rest of the building inspired me for this show. Timber structures were designed for this show and restructured to DIY map cabinet.
屋外に点在する街灯下スペースを使った企画グループ展でした。年末年始を含め24時間開放されている展示場所にヒントを得て、世界各地のお正月の日の出時間と場所を、東京神宮前の日時計にマップした作品で参加しました。
This was a group show spread across spaces under streetlights scattered throughout Jingumae in Tokyo. Inspired by the fact that these outdoor venues were open 24 hours a day, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, I created a sundial on which I marked the sunrise times around the world on New Year's Day, each converted to Japanese time.
コロナ禍で集まれなかった時期を経ての本グループ展の企画意図は、みんなで作った物を表に出し、お互い刺激をもらい合う、久しぶりの忘年会を想った内容でした。
As we had been missing something very much for the previous few years due to the COVID, this exhibition was organized for the feeling of “excitement and peace of mind, possibly that cultivated among the close friends.
